The Rock Climbing Values In Action Project
The Rock Climbing Team collaborated with East Coast Primary School this year for our VIA Project. We planned for a 4-hour programme for the Primary 5 students that involved activities that were conducted concurrently with switchovers after every hour. Each station had a specific activity, ranging from bouldering, scaling the high wall, a College tour and a game of Captain’s ball as well as Frisbee. The planned activities promoted leadership and teamwork.
Climbing Competitions 2016
In order to gain more experience and greater exposure, the Team participated in competitive events such as Gravical and the PumpFest 2016. The Team also shared their passion for the sport and contributed to a Values In Action Project, in collaboration with East Coast Primary School during the June holidays. This project involved the planning and execution of climbing events as well as interactive bonding activities with about 100 Primary 5 students.
