Malay Cultural Society

CCA Overview

The Malay Cultural Society (MCS) provides a platform for its members to showcase their talents and skills in the performing arts. Here, they are able to hone their skills in Malay cultural performances such as in Malay traditional dances.
The main objective is to provide opportunity for members to better appreciate the Malay language and culture apart from developing students’ talent and creativity through participation in competitions, the Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) as well as other public performances.
MCS believes in:

  1. Managing students’ talent by providing ample avenues to showcase it.
  2. Cultivating the awareness of Malay language, culture and moral values.
  3. Strengthening students’ leadership and organisational skills through various platforms.
